Alert ! For the first time in Europe, an art gallery is exhibiting and selling original drawings from the production of the anime Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Meet at the Comic Strip Gallery in Brussels until November 18, 2023 to discover douga and genga. This initiative is led by Frédéric Lorgefounder and director of the Galerie de la Bande Dessinée.

« The Comic Strip Gallery is open Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Located in the heart of Brussels, close to the European Quarter, The Comic Strip Gallery specializes in the exhibition, purchase and sale of original comic strips, original comic drawings, original animation drawings (cels, dogas, gengas) and children’s illustrations. Whether you are passionate about comics, an occasional reader, a fan of Japanese animation, Franco-Belgian comics or American comics, we suggest you buy works that will make you smile and give you emotion for years. We also receive our clients by appointment, and we look forward to soon sharing our passion for line and storytelling with you. »

Production of the Naruto anime began in 2002 within the studio Pierrot. A long format which contains pieces of bravery and is based on the work of distinguished animators. We had the opportunity to see some of the pieces (the owner has quite a collection whose prices you can see here) which are exhibited at the gallery: the conservation is of quality and they are indeed originals. We will have to observe further to know which presenter signs these pieces…
